Hello,
We in Bardic Wolf Productions (the whole two of us) would like to apologize for the lack of activity on our social media side of things. With both life and work on our first product taking most of our time, we haven't been doing a lot on the marketing side of things. While me and my sister, who is co-creator for all current and future projects of this company, have many differences, we both share a great reluctance to pitch something not yet near finished.
That something currently is the Cybergothica Tabletop Roleplaying Game, a project that I am currently spearheading. We hope to have a playtest version by the end of July, as well as a short story to accompany the game. Both will be free and available online on Amazon, DrivethruRPG, and this very website. We hope to publish our first edition of Cybergothica by February 13, 2024, which is Mardi Gras and considered fitting for the futuristic and mythical New Orleans setting the core rulebook is set in. A physical copy will follow shortly afterwards.
I will make a blog post discussing Cybergothica later, but right now I wanted to talk about Bardic Wolf Productions' business model. We believe in bootstrapping most of our funding and doing what we can by ourselves. We hope to crowdfund future projects, but first we need to prove to potential customers and to ourselves that this company has what it takes to earn the trust of future stakeholders in our work. We hope Cybergothica does decently in sales, but it is primarily a promotion for our company, to get our name out.
Our company hope to expand into the video game industry, but we believe a good foundation is needed first so our main focus are novels, tabletop games, and small accessories like dice and stickers.
I hope to write more, but I believe this is a good start for a blog.
